The participants of the Forum on Myanmar 2025: Challenges and Opportunities in the Multipolar World are shocked and dismayed by the extensive loss of life and damage to property due to the strong earthquake that rocked Myanmar on 28 March 2025.
As friends and well-wishers of Myanmar, we wish to express our profound condolences on account of the tragic loss of lives and express our heartfelt empathy to the families of the victims.
We are confident that the brave people of Myanmar will stand up unitedly to fight this calamity and emerge stronger than ever before. Brick by brick, they will rebuild their beautiful country, drawing strength from their deep civilizational roots and a vision for a bright future.
